Tamer Atiba, P.Eng.

Over 19 years of international experience in small, mid and mega size projects ( 1 million $ to 1.8 Billion $) in the field of Oil and Gas, petrochemicals and mining and metals. Tamer's experience included hands on roles in Project management, project controls and risk management as Project engineer, project manager, proposals section head, lead cost and Trend engineer, superintendent of Project controls, Business Improvement superintendent, Operations Principal Advisor for Iron Ore Comapny of Canada in addition to his new role with SNCL Lavalin as VP of Risk Engineering Services. Tamer is a canadian professional engineer, he holds a bachelor of Architectural engineering and Post Graduate diploma in environmental studies from Alexandria University Egypt. Post graduate studies in industrial engineering (major in engineering management) from the Arab academy for science technology and maritime transport, Egypt. In addition to a Master's in Building Engineering (major in construction management) from Concordia University in Canada. He was one of the youngest certified IPMA level C in 2000 in Egypt. He is married with two year old boy. He enjoys playing squash, music and reading.
