PMAC-AGPC offers a number of certifications attesting to an individual's project management knowledge and/or competence. We administer the IPMA global PM certifications in Canada as well as our own national specialty certifications.
IPMA Global Certifications are divided into four progressive levels:
- Level A — For individuals at the top of the profession, managing complex, strategic initiatives and/or portfolios of complex projects. They typically work at the "Director" and "Executive" levels of an organization.
- Level B — For those entrusted to deliver large, complex projects within an organization, alone or with a number of other project managers reporting to them who manage smaller parts of the overall initiative.
- Level C — For individuals who manage smaller, less complex stand-alone projects or who assist more senior project managers by managing simpler components of larger, complex projects under their direction.
- Level D — Intended for those who are new to the project management profession or who have academic knowledge of the profession but little to no practical experience applying the knowledge on real projects.
