CB Meeting Minutes of November 12, 2010

On-line: Kevin Aguanno; Keith Farndale, Alex Jalalian, Grant Kerr, Morley Selver - It was decided that we will do the assessor training in Toronto on December 12, 2010 the day after the AGM. - Alex will complete Peter’s assessment by the end of next week and Kevin will have it done by the 27th. They will try to have the interview before the AGM so we can announce the Level A Certificate. - Morley will advise Peter of this and state that we will advise the next step. - Morley will review the next Level A applicants info this weekend. - The consultant PM document that Alex sent out has not been approved yet. It will be another certificate that IPMA will have available to offer next year. - Alex has a meeting with the DND on Monday. - Bev is the 4th speaker at the AGM. Paul is not running for again. Morley will talk about the new certificate, "Advanced Certificate in Critical and Structured Thinking". This is the thinking one. The 1st workshop and exam are on the 10th. - Book reviews are just starting to come in from the volunteer reviewers. - Kevin will have the voting sorted out by Monday. - We need more people on the CB Board as we are not filling the positions that IPMA recommend that we have. - Someone who took John Colville’s Level D course has completed the on-line Level D Exam. He is the first person to use the on-line exam. The computer will mark the multiple choice questions but we need to assess the written portion.we will use this as a training opportunity for the Level D assessment. Kevin will send Grant, Keith, & Morley the written portion and we will have an assessment meeting on November 26 at 12 noon Toronto time to do a group assessment. - The CB (Morley) has to advise the IMPA CVMB of the number of certificates that have been awarded in the country. There is a fixed fee of 800 euro plus 30 euro for each Level D. Grant says we have the money to pay these fees. We need to advise CVMB by the end of the year. - Kevin is working on another Agile course for accreditation. - Kevin is turning his Agile course into a self study course. It will be next spring before it is ready. He has the Agile test on line, however it is very difficult and you need to take the course in order to pass the test. - The next CB Assessor meeting will be on Friday December 3 at 1 pm Eastern time.
