Grant Kerr is a project management consultant with experience in utilities, healthcare, financial services, automotive and natural resources industries. Areas of expertise include decision-making under conditions of uncertainty, change and conflict; aligning projects with organizational strategy; business change related to implementing projects; managing projects with high levels of uncertainty; and project management education.
He is an assessor for PMAC-AGPC, and is also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Grant recently completed a doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree in Strategy, Programme and Project Management from SKEMA Business School (formerly Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Lille (ESC-Lille)). He researched and suggested ways for dealing with high uncertainty, frequent change, significant conflict, and multiple goals in projects. His thesis delved into project management theories, and especially their relations with complexity theory, systems theory, game theory, complex problem solving, uncertainty, decision-making, analogy, the game of Go, and leadership.
