
Michelina Aguanno
Director & Young Crew Canada LeadMichelina Aguanno is the head of Young Crew Canada, a branch of the global IPMA Young Crew organization that seeks to engage early-career professionals interested in project management. She also holds a position of the Board of Directors of the Project Management Association of Canada (PMAC-AGPC) and sits on its Membership Committee.
She has an extensive background in running youth leadership and engagement activities including for Youth Leadership Camps Canada and the Ontario Student Leadership Centre. As a student trustee for a local school board, she led the board's Student Senate and worked with student councils across the district to increase student engagement.
Aguanno is a Ph.D. Candidate at Ivey Business School at Western University where she researches the intersection of strategic management and sustainability. Through her research, she explores how firms integrate environmental sustainability into their strategic frameworks and pursue projects to advance sustainability. She tackles these questions through a valuation lens and by applying principles of systems thinking. Her current research projects explore these topics in the context of financial innovation projects to advance regenerative agriculture.
She also holds an HBA from Ivey Business School and is an Ivey Sustainability Certificate Program alumna.
