CHAD EKDAHL

Chad Ekdahl is currently the Chief Operating Officer at A&H Steel Ltd. Prior to his appointment as Chief Operating Officer in 2023, he served in various roles that included the Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Major Projects, and Vice President of Projects.

Chad has over 15 years experience delivering large complex infrastructure, heavy industrial, commercial, and residential projects throughout Canada. He has spent over a decade successfully delivering some of Canada's largest infrastructure projects in Canadian history.

Prior to joining A&H Steel, Mr. Ekdahl worked as a general contractor with Forbes Bros Ltd where he was responsible for leading high performing teams that delivered high voltage infrastructure projects throughout Canada. Prior to joining Forbes, Chad worked at Valard Construction where he primarily focused on delivering mega projects with budgets of $1B within the power industry.

Mr. Ekdahl graduated as a member of the Golden Key Honors Society from MacEwan University with a business degree. Chad also received an athletic scholarship and played on the mens hockey varsity team.

Chad currently serves on the board of directors of the George Spady Society as Chair in which provides support services to people with complex life circumstances by empowering them to improve their lives through client-centered, evidence-based best practices.
