IPMA Delta Case Study: Litex AG

This is a case study of a new organizational project management maturity assessment (IPMA Delta Certification) that is now available in Canada.

The certification was done by the Swiss Project Management Association with Sandra Bartsch-Beuerlein from PM-ZERT as Lead Assessor and Hans Knoepfel and Gabriel Gassmann as Co-Assessors. The on-site visit took place on 18thand 19th March 2013.

The client was granted an IPMA Delta Competence Class 3 “Standardised” certificate. Litex AG, Switzerland, was founded 50 years ago. The continuous development from that time on has been an essential aspect of the company's culture. Today the company is an independent provider of three-dimensional illuminated and non-illuminated signs to represent the brands of customers, outdoors and indoors. It helps customers to transform their ideas into reality. Litex also works in tandem with the customer’s advertising agency. This interface is essential to guarantee that the ideas do not remain ideas but can be produced and installed. Litex AG does not sell any in-house production capacities. It coordinates the right products with the right price-performance ratio, for the individual customer requirements. This makes them unique as this business model did not exist in Switzerland previously.

The detailed feedback of the independent assessment helps us to further develop our project management strategy, our project management culture and competence. We are proud to have achieved IPMA Delta Class 3 and we are sure that our customers will benefit from our structured process to deliver a top brand meeting the highest of quality standards, on time, and at a reasonable cost.
